Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 25, 2025

1. Purpose & Scope

This Refund Policy governs requests for refunds on tuition fees and related charges paid for admission to courses at Spectrum IIT–NEET Academy (“Spectrum”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By submitting payment, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are considered only under the following circumstances:

  • Withdrawal of admission by the student/parent before the start of the academic session.
  • Cancellation of a course by Spectrum due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • In rare cases of double payment or technical transaction error.

3. Refund Timeline

Before Course Commencement If a refund request is made before the batch/session begins, Spectrum will refund 75% of the tuition fee paid, after deducting processing and administrative charges.

After Course Commencement Within 7 days of the batch start date: 50% refund, after deductions. After 7 days of the batch start date, no refund will be processed for tuition or registration fees.

4. Non-Refundable Charges

  • Registration fees, admission processing fees, and study material charges are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Discounts, scholarships, or offers availed at the time of admission are not payable as cash or refund.

5. Procedure to Request a Refund

To apply for a refund:

  • Submit a written request with student details, course name, payment reference, and reason for withdrawal to the admissions office or by email.
  • The original fee receipt and admission documents must be submitted for processing.
  • Spectrum reserves the right to verify the authenticity of the request.

6. Processing of Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 21 business days of receiving the complete request and required documentation.
  • Refunds will be made via the same mode of payment as received or through a cheque/NEFT transfer to the parents’/student’s registered bank account.

7. Special Cases

  • Medical emergencies or relocation: If a student is compelled to withdraw for verified medical reasons or relocation of parents (proof required), Spectrum may, at its sole discretion, provide a partial refund as per management’s decision.
  • Batch change or course transfer: No refund will be entertained if a student requests to shift between batches or courses after commencement.

8. Right to Amend Policy

Spectrum reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of your refund request will apply.
